CME Analysis Information (for CME activity ID: 2024-10-03T12:48:00-CME-001)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Data Level: 0 (0=real-time, 1=real-time and checked by supervising forecaster, 2=retrospective science level data analysis)
Use as primary measurement: true
Measurement Technique: SWPC_CAT
Detecting Instruments:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Image Type: running difference
Speed (km/s): 863.0
Speed measured at height (Rs): 17.0
Type: C
Direction (LON/LAT in HEEQ): -3.0/ -4.0
Half Angular Width (degree): 53.0
Minor Half-width (degree): None Entered
Tilt (degree): None Entered
Time@21.5: 2024-10-03T16:29Z
Info/Session URL: None Entered
Note:
SHOCK measurment triangulated between SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO COR2A. The shock front is notably wide with a "layered" appearance in both SOHO and STEREO with some apparent concentric fronts, along with being a bit "wider" than it was "taller" with an overall oval-shape in SOHO. The best fit between both shock fronts is presented here, though it does not capture 100% of the shock front which may be even wider.
